Sweet Ending

The previous post was all about a cooking class my sisters and I took. What a great experience! I really wanted to share the dessert we made because it was just as easy as it was delicious! It is also something you can make ahead, which is great with the holiday season coming up!


Hazelnut Chocolate Panna Cotta

2 packets (1 ½ tbsp.) Unflavored gelatin

6 tbsp cold water

4 cups heavy cream (you can use milk too)

1 tbsp of vanilla bean, split and scaraped

1 cup Nutella

½ cup sugar


1. Stir gelatin into cold water in a small cup and soften. Make sure all of it dissolves.

 2.Place cream in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat and bring to a simmer. 

 3.REMOVE from heat and whisk in vanilla bean and Nutella, mixing until the Nutella is dissolved into cream. Cool mixture for 10 minutes then whisk in gelatin until dissolved.

 4.Ladle mixture into 8 ramekins or coffee cups, about ½ cup. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 3 hours or up to 2 days.
