A Few of My Favorite Things for July
I first came in contact with owner Megan Smalley a little over a year ago when she asked me to write for the "Inspire Me Monday" column. It was one of my first writing collaborations outside of my blog when I was first starting out. From there I discovered the world that is Scarlet and Gold shop and the faith based powerhouse that the company is.
Scarlet and Gold shop is more than inspiring art prints and adorable accessories. There is a real mission behind the message they are trying to convey. In a world filled with negativity and strife they are providing products that introduce a ray of light. The light doesn’t only come in beautiful design but the message of Christ’s love for all.
I truly admire what Megan Smalley and her team are doing. One look at their site and you will fall in love with these products with a positive purpose. Some of my favorite items are the t-shirts that are as comfy as they are cute. The art prints hang in my office and I have plans for them in my future home. My favorite print bears the verse Psalm 46:10 , “Be Still and Know I am God.”
I love it when I see family and friends starting a business, especially when it involves handmade jewelry. Lucia Pitti is the owner and creator behind “CandyStax” where she makes custom bracelets.
