Chicken Teriyaki Dip
Chicken teriyaki dip is a riff on the beloved buffalo chicken dip. Superbowl is right around the corner and everyone will be looking for fabulous game day food. I made some stir fry for my family recently and I was struck with this idea. How yummy would it be if I could swim in a creamy version of chicken teriyaki? You haven’t had that dream? Well after trying this dip I guarantee you will be!
The sweet teriyaki sauce mixed with the salty cheese is a game changer. The pineapple and scallions add another level flavor. This dip is gooey and addicting, a definite party touchdown.
Chicken Teriyaki Dip
Chicken teriyaki dip will be a new game day favorite. This dip is salty, sweet, and gooey. Sure to be a game day winner in your house!
ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c teriyaki sauce (premade)
1/2 c mayonnaise
2 tbsp pineapple juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp kosher salt
2 cups chicken, shredded
1/2 cup scallions, chopoped
3/4 c cheddar cheese, shredded
instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl mix together cream cheese, teriyaki sauce, mayo, pineapple juice, garlic powder, and salt with an electric mixer on low speed until mostly smooth.
Fold in the chopped chicken and scallions until well combined.
Pour the mixture in a round pyrex dish. Spread out evenly with a rubber spatula.
Then top with the shredded cheddar cheese and scallions.
Place it in the oven for about 20 -22 minutesminutes, until hot and bubbly. Serve immediately. You can serve it with tortilla chips, pita, crackers, or veggies!
