Dina Deleasa Gonsar is the author behind the new cookbook and devotional title, At the Kitchen Sink. She is also a seasoned writer, speaker, and television personality. Dina started writing recipes for her family and friends on the popular blog, Dishitgirl.com. This love for food and family turned into a small business, and now ministry with the publication of her book.
Dina Deleasa-Gonsar is known for sharing her family traditions and modern twists on recipes along with an inside look at her real-life as a mom and wife. When in the kitchen, Dina brings her recipes to life with her personal anecdotes and honest, quick wit. Whether she’s foraging in her pantry for a last minute meal, or opening her home for a family celebration, she is inspiring at-home cooks to try dishes that will become a staple in their house. Or simply just help them make it through the busy weeks. Her family is at the center of everything she does and this can be seen during her time on the E! Network show “Married to Jonas,” which she appeared on alongside her sister, Danielle.
Dina knows life isn’t always a curated social media post, so she strives to always show the “in-between.” Making sure to dish out her real-life that goes on behind the social posts and media platforms. Dina has always given an honest account of her journey through postpartum depression and most recently a cancer battle. Bringing her faith into the forefront as she consistently details walking every part of the valley and how her relationship with the Lord sustains her throughout. Dina has brought this message to a number of speaking engagements, as well as her involvement with the She Lives Fearless podcast and Christian Parenting.
Dina has had the opportunity to contribute her recipes as on air talent for The Today Show, GMA3, Inside Edition , and regularly appearing on New York Living just to name a few. She also won the title of Best Home Cook by the Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family and competed on Guys Grocery Games on the Food Network. In addition her written work has appeared on GMA Online, Rachel Ray Online, Real Simple, as well as countless other media outlets. Dina has experience as both a co-host, in food segment demo’s, as well as commercial campaigns. You can also watch Dina cook and give encouragement on “Conversations at the Kitchen Sink” via the GLU Network.
Whether it’s a 4-course meal or simply breakfast for dinner, with DishItGirl, Dina hopes to keep it real, with real-good food along the way. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband, Brian, and daughter, Siena.
