I am always looking for a way to give back – especially during the holidays – because I believe everyone should be able to experience the magic of the season in some capacity. There are so many ways to get involved in the holidays: whether it’s volunteering, giving back to a variety of community charities, or, if you’re like myself, to shopping for gifts for my church’s toy drive.

So, I was thankful to hear that I can also give back while party planning this season by choosing products like 7UP and Canada Dry, who have partnered with The Salvation Army to donate money whenever you buy specially-wrapped packages at Walmart this holiday season.

I call this creation a Christmas Cookie Float! I made a quick cinnamon simple syrup and added it to the Canada Dry Ginger Ale, sprinkled some cinnamon sugar on the rim, and added some vanilla ice cream. As if you needed another way to get your Christmas cookie fix, right?
